Please see our latest client guidelines below
In response with latest Government guidelines we are now only open for patients that require essential or emergency care.
However rest assured that we will continue to provide treatment and veterinary care for your pets, livestock and horses as best we can.
Opening hours will be subject to ongoing change, so please be patient during these unprecedented times.
Please call the normal 01570 470100 number for information and guidance if you are unsure whether your animal requires treatment, and we will arrange a telephone conversation with a vet to determine the situation. In many cases the vet will feel that a telephone consultation is the most appropriate course of action, rather than coming to the surgery.
To comply with social distancing and protect human health we have closed the surgery building so please do not turn up without phoning first/ prior arrangement. Once you have spoken to a vet they will indicate whether a consultation at the surgery is needed, and will talk you through the process.
Clients with appointments are requested to stay in their cars in the car-park and phone to announce their arrival.
As usual all medicine requests and repeat prescriptions are being taken over the phone.
These are to be picked up at pre-arranged times from the surgery car-park holding containers.
The exact time for pick-up will be determined to reduce non essential travelling for all concerned.
We ask for a minimum of 5 working days notice to fulfil repeat prescriptions due to changes in delivery routines.
We hope you all continue to stay safe and well, and help us keep everyone here safe also by following these guidelines.
From all at Aeron Vets
Aeron Vets is a truly mixed practice consisting of five veterinary surgeons, dealing with a wide range of animals from Friesian’s to ferrets and a support team of animal care assistants and admin staff- to provide back up and to occasionally keep the vets in check.
Our aim is to provide the best professional care for you and your animals, so if you are seeking treatment or advice please do contact us.
We currently have two premises, the recently developed main surgery located in Cilau Aeron with excellent parking facilities, and a smaller branch surgery in Aberaeron.
Out of surgery hours: we use a dedicated veterinary call service who will be on hand to take your details and notify the on call vet. This is designed to give you peace of mind that your emergency will be dealt with as soon as possible. Sometimes our welsh place names give them a little difficulty with the spelling though, so please do be patient!
